The short version: Use BALANSET responsibly. We provide the tool - you're responsible for your financial decisions. Don't abuse the service.

What BALANSET is

BALANSET is a personal finance tracking tool. You enter your income and expenses, and we help you see where your money goes.

We are NOT:

  • A bank
  • A financial advisor
  • An accounting service
  • Connected to your bank accounts

The information you see in BALANSET is based on what you enter. We don't verify it or give financial advice.

Your responsibilities

By using BALANSET, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Keep your password secure
  • Use the service for personal finance tracking only
  • Not use the service for illegal purposes
  • Be at least 18 years old

You're responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data you enter
  • Any financial decisions you make based on that data
  • Keeping your account secure

Our responsibilities

We will:

  • Keep the service running as reliably as possible
  • Protect your data with reasonable security measures
  • Not sell your personal financial data
  • Give you notice before making major changes

What's not allowed

Don't:

  • Share your account with others
  • Try to hack or break the service
  • Use automated tools to access the service
  • Upload malicious content
  • Pretend to be someone else
  • Use BALANSET for business accounting (it's for personal use)

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Disclaimers

No financial advice: BALANSET is a tracking tool, not a financial advisor. We don't tell you what to do with your money. Any decisions you make are your own.

As-is service: We provide BALANSET "as is." We do our best, but we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly or be available 100% of the time.

Data accuracy: The numbers in BALANSET are only as accurate as what you enter. We don't verify transactions or connect to external sources.

Not liable for decisions: We're not responsible for financial decisions you make based on BALANSET data.

Account termination

You can leave anytime:

  • Delete your account in Settings
  • All your data will be permanently removed

We can terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Abuse the service
  • Remain inactive for extended periods (we'll warn you first)

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. When we do:

  • We'll update the date at the top
  • For significant changes, we'll notify you by email
  • Continuing to use BALANSET means you accept the new terms
